Chlorethanol in Produkten aus Indien (auch Bioprodukte wie Sesam, Amaranth, Ashwaganda, Kreuzkümmel, Bockshornkleesamen, Leinsamen, Ingwer, Guarkernmehl, Moringa, Flohsamen, Quinoa, Kurkuma, Triphala) und Johannesbrotkernmehl wird empfohlen die Rohmaterialkontrolle dahingegend zu verschräfen. Insbesonder da eine EU Arbeitsgruppe beschlossen hat, dass weiterverarbeitete Produkte, in denen der Rückstandshöchstgehalt überschritten wird, vom Markt zu nehmen sind und öffentlich zurückzurufen sind.
